Advisor to the Board of the MEER Foundation in Haarlem (semi-government executive organisation) during start-up. MEER Foundation now has stable business and governance processes (2007).
Business plan and scouting for Amsterdam Trade University (ATU), a triple campus master degree in transaction costs covering Amsterdam, Singapore and Shanghai. Initiating universities preferred plan for Duisenberg School of Finance(2006).
GEI developed the Fastmover (TGV-Cargo) rail concept (investment €500 mill.) for a high speed (300 km/hr) cargo train with associated terminals and commercial real estate development. Strong core-business partners and also financial partners were brought into the Fastmover consortium led GEI (www.fastmover.eu). Concept is commercialised. Project is waiting on investment decisions.(2004-2007)
